East Coast Bays Rotary meets every Monday at 5.30pm at the Pupuke Golf Club, East Coast Road, Campbells Bay. For the last fifteen plus years the Inner Wheel Club of East Coast Albany Bays and the Rotary Club of East Coast Bays have been involved in a joint maternity project for the North Shore Hospital and more recently for the Waitakere Hospital as well.
For the Past three years the Rotary Club of East Coast Bays in conjunction with the Rangitoto College and Phnom Penh Rotary Club have given the chance for an Orphan from the NFC Orphanage in Phnom Penh to experience life in New Zealand and set them up for future life in Cambodia.
The East Coast Bays Rotary 16 th annual Drive 4 Life golf day on 18 November set a new record with 140 people playing at Waitemata Golf Club to raise over $35,000. Funds raised will go to the Well Foundation and other local causes.

Every year, Sean and Stephen take all the International Youth Exchange Students and assorted friends and hangers-on to do the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. We tackle Ruapehu Summit, the Crossing and the fit ones take on Mount Ngauruhoe as a side trip from the Crossing. 

Its a great weekend and a cool way to show the students a special part of New Zealand. 

We stay at a very interesting backpackers in Turangi where the owner is happy for us to decorate the wall with the Rotary Wheel and the names of all the students. We suspect we are not following the RI Style Guide rules for the colour and shape of the Wheel
