On Thursday, 23rd November 2023, the Rotary Club of East Coast Bays, in association with our principal sponsor, North Shore Taxi, we held the 22nd “Drive 4 Life” charity golf (Ambrose) tournament at Waitemata Golf Club in Devonport.
We had a very successful, fun and fellowship day and raised funds for our primary beneficiary, The Well Foundation and other beneficiaries within the local community.
Construction of a new state-of-the-art hospital with 150 beds and eight operating theatres is underway on the North Shore Hospital campus. The new hospital facility provides a once-in-a-generation opportunity to come together as a community to create something unique that will change the hospital experience for our loved ones for decades.
The Well Foundation is committed to advancing healthcare for the people of the North Shore and is leading a campaign to raise the $2M needed to realise the vision of creating New Zealand’s first large-scale indoor Healing Garden that will become the feature-piece of the new hospital, transforming the atmosphere and improving the wellbeing of patients, families, and the teams who provide care. Help us fill our new hospital on the North Shore with a beautiful Healing Garden.
Our golf tournament is one in which the whole Rotary Club of East Coast Bays membership gets involved, and we look forward to you joining us for some fun, fellowship and fundraising at our next tournament in 2024.
